16th July 2006 - BDWW visit NYMR!
On Sunday 16 July members of BDWW visited the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to take pictures and have a look around.
A big thank you goes to Ken Kitching from NYMR who took time to show us around areas of the Railway not normally open to the public where we were able to see fascinating examples of the restoration work carried out by the staff and volunteers.
It was a gorgeous day as far as the weather was concerned so there should be no excuses for not getting some great pictures. Jack the dog was able to join us but there was trouble finding a white wall for him to pose against ... better luck next time we're out!
A selection of our pictures have now been posted in the new Pickering Steam Trains portfolio. Enjoy!
