Gun crazy - Overseas
The Adolf Gun is the largest gun on land in the world. Built towering over Harstad in Norway by the Germans in the second world war, it had a range of 35 miles. 800 Russian prisoners died constructing it. It was never fired in the war apart from in practice. What a waste of life. Access to it is only through a military base, for which permission must be sought (David).
