Ice balls

The picture was taken just after 9.00am on 8 March 2010 in Trondheim, Norway and is of ice balls alongside the river. It was possibly minus 15 degrees and, despite thermals, down jackets, fleeces, 2 hats, 2 pairs of gloves, by 10am we were frozen and headed to the Cathedral Cafe for a hot chocolate and a thaw!
